The Rosé of Château Puygueraud
Origin : FranceThe property of 50 ha was acquired by George Thienpont in 1946 and he subsequently replanted it with vines toward the end of the 1970's. Since 1983 his son, Nicolas, has been responsible for the winemaking. Chateau Puygueraud has since become the benchmark wine for the Cotes de Francs and a reference for the renewal of this still little-known appellation.
Since a few years we have dedicated a part of the vineyard to the press Rosé production. Produced on plot especially oriented on the Rosé production and vinified with the material and experience accumulated with the production of great white wines, everything is implemented to produce high precision rosé with little red fruit notes. With a nice light pink color, freshness is well present.
